From stadium to residential area / Van stadion tot woonwijk

If you wouldn't have sources like Google Earth / Google Maps / Google StreetView, these days you just have view towards a regular modern residential area and you wouldn't have known about the transformation these grounds have gone through.
Here used to be a stadium, which has been demolished in June 2004 to make way for expansion of the town.
Nice touch that you can still make out some part of the orignal contours, so it's not completely forgotten about...

Zonder bronnen, zoals Google Earth / Google Maps / Google StreetView, zou je tegenwoordig gewoon het uizticht op een saaie moderne woonwijk opmerken en nooit ontwaren dat dit gebied een flinke transformatie heeft ondergaan.
Hier was ooit een stadion, dat juni 2004 terug gesloopt is ten gunste van uitbreiding van de regio.
Toch leuk detail dat men nog steeds wat contouren kan terugvinden, zodat toch niet alles in de vergetelheid verdwijnt.
